Check if the army ranges are open. If not much of the easterly walk is a road diversion for many miles. If open, the range walks are great across the hills, and enable many circular walks The westerly walk gives great views, but has many...More

Brilliant having accessed at various times during our stay. Very taxing in places if you're not fit. We loved it and had our 3 dogs with us.

When staying in Lulworth for a few days, we always do a couple of long walks, firstly to see the stunning views from the cliffs, and secondly to build up an appetite for dinner each evening ! Our first day we walked the coastal path...More

This is another very interesting part of the Jurassic Coast section of the SWCP, offering some quite testing walking, great views all the way and a useful stopping point in Lulworth, although note that it does get very busy on sunny weekends.

We stopped at The Lulworth Cove Inn after a 13km hike along the SWCP and wasn’t disappointed. Plenty of outside shady areas after a day in the sun with comfortable seating and a great menu. Can recommend the fish and chips but all food looked...More

There’s a bit of steady climbing and a steep descent by steps but otherwise a walk that anyone could make. You’ll be rewarded with fabulous coastal views and have earnt that ice cream on your return to Lulworth Cove. Of course, you have to climb...More

Part of the Jurassic park route. You can see fossil rock but the stairs going right down are closed. Great views but very muddy hike up from the cove if it has been raining. If you hike long enough you end up at a nice...More

The walk from West Lulworth to Osmington Mills cover a lot of experiences of the jurassic coast. But Weymouth is a little far away to get great views.
