As we entered the compound, we were greeted by a flock of hawks surveying the area and a large group of cute, local cats. The park itself was very well kept with some personnel cleaning the premises even during our visit. The whole area can be easily explored in around half an hour by following the main paths, and I really recommend taking advantage of the two sightseeing towers for photo opportunities of the sea, the bridge and the mainland urban area.…

Located at the tip of the Miura peninsula. Really clean and well maintained park. Great look out areas to enjoy the views. Nice variety of plant life. Friendly cats walk around. My advice. Take the back trail and head to Umanose Cave. Awesome views there as well. Don't forget to take water with you. Can get hot especially during the summer months.…

You can walk to the end and down to the lighthouse. Clean restrooms and unsure what parking costs but it is available. Nice views of the water.

Jogashima is located at the tip of Miura Peninsula and is considered one of the 八景 (eight picturesque views) of the area. It is very picturesque. From the island on a clear day you can see the Boso Peninsula to the Izu Peninsula and everything in between. On clear days, Mt. Fuji rises majestically from across the bay. …
