Could easily have spent hours walking around this area. Well designed, easily accessible, buskers for entertainment, lots to look at, grassed areas to sit and relax, not far from the waters edge and spectacular views.

A memorial park to learn about the beauty of a sailing ship and the history of the port of Yokohama Bay. There is a Nippon Maru & Yokohama Port Museum, which I didn’t visit. I did take many photos of the area though.

It's a great place to visit the Nipponmaru. You can walk slowly inside the ship and talk with the captain. You will be able to experience what life is like living inside the vessel. The bunk beds for the crews are so short that one...More

Nice place to walk around, I didn't went onto the Nipponmaru ship, though. I am basically not a fan of metropolises, but Yokohama's central seaside area is more than appealing.
