Great place to visit if you love to eat fresh fish or sushi. Choose from a variety of welcoming shops and restaurants. Fish is also sold in this market but be sure to arrive early as the best fish tends to sell out early in the morning.

In case you’re thinking Tsukiji market is no more, the outer market (which is really the best part for visitors) still going strong. All of the tiny restaurants, knife shops, little alleys and stores selling all manner of ingredients are still very much in operation....More

We had a good visit at the market. Most stalls were closed but that didn’t dampen our spirits and the rest of the tourists visiting the place. We had sushi lunch and tasted Mocchi and ice cream from the market.

Been here several times but the first time since the move of the auction or fish market. I personally think it has lost a bit of it’s charm and feeling with the hasty vehicles and noise. The market is still there and good but it...More

Went there 'early' 8.30am. Managed to cover the stalls recommended by various youtubers. The tuna don, the egg, bbq seafood and Inari. The crowd started to come in closer to 10am.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
