On the top of this outstanding building about 300 meters high this is certainly a beautiful observatory, with beautiful views an fun attractions.
Strongly recommended when visiting Osaka and easily accessed through the subway system.
One of my favorite places when I visit a country is going to the highest place and admire the views.
This is probably the best place I have been in. Even better than observatory of Manhattan.
You can even go outside and walk through a...More
I think it is best to arrive just prior to sunset so you can experience before, during, and after sunset. They have nice displays, a cafe with a view, a bar, a restaurant, and a gift shop. Lots to keep you busy. The views are...More
Visited this attraction after reaching Osaka central JR station. The walk took about 20min, in the summer heat.

It is not free, but ticketing happens after you go up the building. There are four floors (including the roof garden) that are accessible after you go up the building (before paying), but the top two cannot be seen without the admission ticket. If you really want to have a look but you don't want to pay, I suggest that you can go up and look through windows (they are not the best because it shows the middle of the building and very little of Osaka's view) because there are restaurants and gift shop that is accessible to everyone. I do suggest you go up after paying though. It is beautiful to see it from the very top.
