Stunning aquamarine water
Sep 2020
Harami beach can be accessed by walking the coastal path from the harbour in Lakka or by heading up the hill at the eastern end of Lakka and accessing the beach from the road at the top (which brings you out by the taverna). The latter route offers some stunning views of the bay from the hillside. The beach has sunbeds with tress offering plenty of shade, a taverna and a small hotel. The pebbles on the shoreline become sand as you access the water. The water here is stunning – crystal clear and varying shades of aquamarine backed by a harbour full of moored yachts. The beach gets really busy for a couple of hours when the day trippers arrive from the pleasure boats but by 2pm they have all gone and it returns to a calm, tranquil beach.

Amazing view

Amazing view of the blue water. When we have visited, at the beginning of July 2020, the beach was not crowded at all.

A short stroll around Lakka Harbour
Sep 2019
Harami beach is just a short stroll around Lakka Harbour. Although the harbour itself is pretty and has a constant stream of boats coming and going, and Lakka is lively and has some nice restaurants, we found Harami beach to be scruffy, tired and rubbish strewn. Maybe it is due to being the end of the season. Luckily we had a car because after visiting Harami beach on our the first day of our two week holiday, we decided that we wouldn’t return as there were much more beautiful and cleaner beaches on Paxos.

Small but Adequate
Aug 2019
Harami Beach is reached by a small path along the coast from Lakka. At the far end it a taverna that has sun beds which are on a terrace and free if you eat there. The food and the staff are wonderful. Just down the step onto a very narrow pebbly beach which turns to sand after a metre in the water.

Excellent Taverna and beach

It’s a must visit if you are staying in Lakka or surrounding area. Beautiful safe beach for children (mine are 9 & 5), the food is excellent as is the hospitality of the owners.

Stunning views and not overcrowded.

Swintastic

A beautiful setting. The walk from the harbour takes about 10-15 minutes - a bit of a climb in places. The beach taverna is handy, but pricey. Swimming is fab. A narrow stoney beach breaks in to sand at the water's edge. Account for the stones - ie not that comfortable with just a towel. Once in the water though, all good. The sea shelves out gently to the harbour which was full of yachts and pleasure boats - making for a fab scene. We did not see much when snorkelling at the harbour edges. A very safe place to swim.

This is my "happy beach" in my "happy village" on my "happy Greek Island"...

Somehow all the stones, which required beach shoes of the previous 12 years have gone. The staff as it's the wind! Don't think so as the adjoining beach is stony as ever!

We agree to disagree; that they had not cleared the stones over the Winter and it was Gods work 😉 As if!

So with the stones gone it's heaven personified!

Beach Taverna
Jul 2019 • Couples
Ideal taverna with good food and cool drinks when swimming at Harami Beach. Very nice sandy beach where the sunbeds are supplied free. Very clean and well kept with friendly staff.
Regret can not give a rating for evening as we have not as yet tried it.

Lunch and beach.

Just a little walk around the coast, 5 mins, it is a very comfy place to spend the day. Free sunbeds for customers is a bonus. Food was good and reasonable, try the ice creams, plus don't forget your rock shoes as stony beach.
