Amazing food!

We had two evening meals at this wonderful gem of a restaurant.
The host was very friendly and tried hard with his English - I don't speak much Italian!
The food was absolutely delicious!
Seafood and pasta all fresh.
His home made wine is full of flavour.
Well worth looking out this 'out of the way' restaurant for a genuine, authentic Italian meal.
Tiramisu is also yummy!

An oasis of refreshment after the climb up from Manarola.

It was a warm day, and the trail up to Volatra from Manarola was difficult for us. When we arrived we were tired and thirsty. Here was a nice man inviting us to sit at a table in the shade and relax with a glass of his vino. We sat on the enotecca's small terrace and had a couple of glasses of his fine Volastra vino bianco. We then shared a glass of his sweet and strong sciacchetra. MOLTO GRAZIE SIGNORE!!!
