I have visited the waterfalls a few times now and they are lovely to swim in. It is a short walk up a few steep rocks so wearing water shoes is advised but I wore bare feet last time I went and just walked carefully....More

We visited today and I do not mind spending money but A$25 per person entry is a bit steep for what you get. Yes it’s a nice waterfall, and the water is clear, but spend your time at Blue Lagoon or a boat cruise instead.

Definitely worth going to the falls, it was an easy walk, we had a great guide, who was very informative of the cultures. Had great time in the falls and sliding down the falls

Went to Vanuatu this December 2016, and the original mele cascade waterfalls sadly has dried up. There are now the new waterfalls for tourists which are a further drive but are still beautiful
