The maze is well worth a visit, particularly with young children. Had a fun hour there with all the family. Avoid the tea room though. €4 for a white bread and lidl bargain ham sandwich. You can get hair in the butter for free though.

Lovely meandering around this ruin now just inhabited by the local ravens and crows. Cannot get into much of site as deemed unsafe but ok to roam around the perimeter.

I went here recently with friends and it is a great place to spend an afternoon. The Abbey is an old ruin with little to see. Nevertheless, the pitch and putt and maze is great fun for all ages. The cafe is also very nice,...More

We wanted to have a go at the maze, it was a beautiful day and we'd fun... also an opportunity to try 9 hole pitch n putt- great fun. Amazing historical spot. Tea room does AMAZING freshly made crepes!

It was lovely sunny day and all you ever heard of emerald island came trough. Peaceful cows on green meadows, flocks of ravens flying high up around abbey towers against clear blue sky... I could write a poem ☺️

Visited the Abbey late Saturday afternoon with my wife and 3yo son. Amazing old ruins to walk around and appreciate the architecture.
