Did the visit on a scooter. It's a great place as you have a great scenic view of the town. Great place to learn about history and culture. I got the chance to see monkeys too. Awesome.

should go to big budda temple it takes 2 or 3 hours it doesnt matter if u r a solo traveller or with friends or honey moon it is a cultural ,tourism and religious visit u can go by taxi . you can go to...More

Amazing views, amazing Buddha, totally worth the trip. Remember to cover shoulders, take your time, great for people-watching.

This was an amazing experience, I would recommend going,however, don’t go in shorts or they will make you wear an apron skirt 😀 Well worth a look.

I am impressed soooooo big Budha Statue , Monks were insaide and it was a amazing ceremony..definetely MUST SEE PLace in Phuket, from Karon we took a TUKTUK service its easy access.

Great place to visit, just went up by scooter to find parking and entry to be Free. They have a lot of work to do on this restoration still. But it is well worth a visit. Make a donation to the rebuild fund for those...More

Whilst this is not quite completed yet, this is a beautiful and striking attraction that is entertaining for tourist but retains religious dignity. Well worth a visit.

I think its about a 40 min drive. There is construction on some of the main road.

It can get busy but people are very Respectful of the peaceful nature of the site... hence it’s not a bad clamber up the steps, I believe you will get the photo you desire... prob more so first thing. Good luck with you... More
