It was very impressive to see, especially going inside and visiting the monks. We had a blessing which was great. It was very busy though and make sure you bring respective clothing to cover shoulders and knees.

This is definitely a must see attraction while in Phuket. The Big Buddha is rightly named, it absolutely towers over the surrounding scenery. There are also several smaller buddhas to see, including several golden Buddhas, not to mention the monkeys and the incredible panoramic views...More

The place was serene and Buddha was gigantic. Had some of the sweetest pineapples here. The scenery one gets to see en route the top of the hill is breathtaking! Would love to visit this place again.

no bus goes from any beach in phuket..the public transportation is the worst thing...my suggestion is please take a sight seeing tour for 500 baht and it wil cover all the attractions in phuket..one way tuktuk wil take 300... More

We were taken by a minibus and then walked up the steps its like 10 minutes walk that way
