Though there is a parking fee, the entrance to the grounds is free. If you want to climb up to the top of the tower it costs more. I enjoyed just strolling the area around the building and sitting in the sun for awhile on a bright if windy autumn day.

Very interesting with great views. Lots to see with some great walks around the peninsula. Only €3 to climb the lighthouse and €3 to park.

Visited Cap Frehel today in the glorious Brittany sunshine. Unusually for France there was a charge for parking, although at €3 I didn't think it was excessive. The lighthouse building itself is a beautiful piece of architecture but it is overwhelmed by the area's natural beauty, the views along the coastline are spectacular. A word you warning to parents, keep your young ones close as there are a lot of places for them to fall a long way, not that you don't get told that.......…

There is a fee to climb the lighthouse at Cap Frehel, which I feel is not really worth it as the views of the cliffs from ground level are already spectacular. The lighthouse (and the old, smaller one right beside it) do serve as a nice photo feature with the cliffs as a backdrop.…
