We really enjoyed a lovely time walking with and feeding the Elephants. It was a very special time. Highly recommend this experience. We did not ride the elephants but this is an option if you would like a new experience.

This is a stunning place to visit when in Plett. There are few places like this in South Africa - where you can interact with elephants, help feed them and even spend the night sleeping close to these gentle giants. Highly Recommended.

I was a bit nervous and passed on the walk through the woods but my husband enjoyed it. I did touch them and learn about them. Interesting to see their power and I found the experience to be worth the money

These elephants have been well trained to walk with visitors holding their trunks. They lift their feet for inspection and open their mouths to show their tongues and generally let the visitor inspect them closely. Educational and well meaning

It was magical being so close and involved with the elephants. We walked with their trunks holding our hands and fed them. The guides talked us through all we needed to know about these wonderful creatures. Very good gift shop, coffee teas etc.

I was so excited to arrive at this "sanctuary" to witness the glory of elephants in nature. It didn't take long for my elation to to turn to disgust as I watched these animals work to entertain the audience, being groped by countless strangers and...More

We thought this would be a sanctuary, providing animals a place to live happy and free in nature, but instead the elephants are being domesticated and tamed to entertain tourists. It felt like a circus in nature, we were disappointed and left before the end...More
