I am a field guide with 20 years of wildlife and conservation experience. Booking a walk with me will not only give you an experienced guide with everything we see/hear/touch being interpreted, but there is also a safety factor as I know the area and people we encounter very well. I offer many different walks and it is best to check out my website for details.

C.R.E.W IS = CONSERVATION, REHABILITATION, EDUCATION, WILDLIFE This is a non-profit organization and if ever you want to know what nature is all about this is the place to learn in the most remarkable way. You are taken on guided Bush, River and Forest trails even Special Needs folk are able to learn on Sensory trails which I am sure is a first for South Africa. These folk also provide Scout and Group Tours. There is only one problem, one does NOT want the Tour to end,there is so much to learn and see. Real Wildlife, Real Education a visit never to forget. Myself and my family spent a lovely morning walking through the forest with Mark. The private nature reserve is a pristine undisturbed area of natural beauty and a real treat to experience. Mark is a thoughtful and informative guide with plenty of stories to tell from his years of working with animals and in nature. A definite recommendation!

Absolutely loved this guided hike! Really amazing trail down a steep hill to a stream, along the stream and then back up. Mark our guide, told us so many fascinating things about the plants and creatures around us. I really have a whole new outlook on small critters! A must do if your in the area! :)

Mark and Polly, thank you for guided us during a three hours walk to and along the river in the forest. You explained a lot of what you are doing in Brackenburn, what you can find in the forest and about your experience in other wild parks. You also showed the process of ringing birds to us, what we appreciated too.
