You need to take NH44 from delhi to Ambala then take NH205 to Roopnagar, then NH503 to Dharamshala. After Roopnagar you can visit Anandpur Sahib gurudwara and if you want you can take overnight stay there and then early in the morning you can visit Naina devi which is 1 hr drive from Anandpur Sahib.
Then you can head towards Dharamshala and take overnight stay there or in McLeod ganj which is 185km from naina devi. You can visit highest cricket stadium in Dharamshala and please visit Kangra or Nagarkot while returning also please visit jwalamukhi or jwala ji and Chintpurni mata you can complete all 3 in a single day while returning back and then take a stay at chandigarh or Ambala.
The route is so beautiful and safe and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery alongwith whole route after Anandpur Sahib, especially when you start climbing the hill.
I hope you will enjoy the trip and best wishes to you.
