Overall this experiences was fantastic. They gave you a sheet at the beginning of the show to explain what was happening in the dance, which was very helpful. I would recommend not sitting close to the dancer on the ground as you might get singed....More

Crowded - no emergency exits on the amphitheater, so much people that sat everywhere. You don't understand much and you thank God when it's over. Just a waste of time. Barong dance much better.

In my opinion this is completely overhyped. The dance makes very little sense even when you are given a brochure explaining it act and having fire in the title is extremely misleading as there is very little fire.

Kecak Dance is derived from the world smack is a colossal dance performance that takes the story of Rama Shita accompanied by sound...cak...cak...cak.. as gamelan(music). Travellers will see the Kecak fire dance while enjoying the beauty of the sunset at Uluwatu temple. Many tourists who...More

This is my third Kecak dance experience and each at different place. This one was quite entertaining. As dancers interacted and mingled with audience much more than dancers of other places. Even one of the audience was asked to dance together with a demon character....More

I am an older single traveller and booked through Buffallo tours. Over 1,000 people are sold tickets making an overcrowded ampitheatre with no clear exit. I was seated on the second bottom tier, later people were seated 4 deep on the floor towards the dancers....More

Too crowded. The dancers almost had no place to do their business. The show it self is amazing but to shoved in people over of the capacity of the venue is just a big no. The tickets queque is brutal, just let your tour guide...More

The area is arranged in a semi-circle gallery. Sit in the centre, high up for the best view. The show continues even during the rain. The show ends in the darkness, so far better to have your own transportation. The local... More

It’s starts at 6 but I suggest getting there around 5 for a good seat and view of the sunset. We entered the theater area around 5:20 and there were lots of people already there.
