I’ve never been somewhere so hot in my life!!! But it was amazing! The rich history combined with the landscape is worth the heat. The trip to the top in the cable car was a bit miserable with staff cramming an unreadable amount of ppl...More

Take a tram ride round trip, or hike the steep trail. The top area was much larger than I expected. See the bath house, palace, storage areas, etc., including the earthen ramp, walls, and camps built by the Romans as they laid siege. Worth the...More

An amazing place. You take a cable car to the top of the mountain to see Herrod's "hideaway". Also the surrounding barren mountains are outstanding. Do not miss it.

Masada is incredible. You can’t quite believe there was the hustle and bustle of a busy city sitting atop of such a place. You get some amazing views across the Judaean desert and Dead Sea too. We had a tour guide, but you could easily...More

This was my favourite day in the whole of Israel. The views and history are incredible. The snake path is very doable. My Dad is afraid of heights and he coped very well because there is a banister you can hold onto 80% of the...More

This place is awesome. The view is breathtaking and the fortress is restored very good. Take a guide, there are not a lot of information boards around and the story is very interesting. It is advisable to book a tour in advance. If you feel...More
