An amazing little gem tucked away in the street opposite the hotel. It seems those in the know travel thousands of miles to taste the Swartland treasures and we felt so lucky to stumble upon this wine shop. Stocking only independent wines from the local area, the tasting that was hosted by Jill was so informative and so much fun.... More

A very large choice of Wine from small and independant winemaker, tending to be organic. A great choice, good advise, the place to go for wine lovers....

This is the place to go to if you are in the Swartland and are frustrated that so few of the wineries have tasting rooms. The lady who helped was a mine of information and ever so friendly. We bought a dozen bottles and we're pleased with our purchases. However, we later found that the Eben Sadie wines are almost... More

I was like a kid in a candy store! The selection of Swartland wines is fantastic. The owners are so knowledgeable and even though they were closed, when we walked in, they offered us a wine tasting and some great tips and stories on the wines. Needless to say we bought too much wine but can't wait to try them... More

Knowledgeable staff, friendly service and interesting wines. A nice change from the supermarket/bottle-store selection. They also deliver to CT on a Wednesday!

This quaint little wine shop is full of interesting and unusual area wines. What helps is the very helpful and friendly owner who so readily imparts her knowledge. Definitely we will revisit and dedicate enough time to truly benefit from her knowledge.

Informative, friendly and passionate this is how I can best describe this shop. I am not even sure if the person who assisted us on the day was a keeper or owner but the passion that was delivered in terms of the wines and the area was contagious. I have been here several times before to purchase some of the... More

A quirky wine shop with a magnificent selection of Swartland wines incl. Annexkloof and Mullineux (a now much sought-after shiraz). Find wines here you'd never have known about otherwise. Be bold and try them! A great range in price to choose from. Informed and friendly service. Always a bottle or two open for a quick taste too. Also wines from... More

The Wine Kollective has a wonderful selection of wines, but only does wine tasting on the weekend, but you can sample their wines at the Royal Hotel. Please consider extending the tasting times.
