Wanted to buy a book, a passerby recommended Aitsa. It’s a real little nook with bits and bobs. Jams, toffees, lovely leather pieces and all sorts. Presented well and you could stroll around without feeling rushed. Staff are friendly, a nice range of items and a useful second hand book corner.

Lovely spot with great homemade treats, natural beauty products, jewellwery and lots more! I settled on a moisturizer called Skin Drink by Still Pure(which is over the road from Aitsa) which smells amazing, some local handmade toffees and my fave, a clay pendant painted with the African symbol for health on it. Go take a look, you'll absolutely find something you love to take home with you :)

The shop has a bit of everything, from sweets, to jams, natural body creams, pies ( they looked amazing!), books and some homeware. And while you are on this side of town, take a stroll to one of the best home and decor shop we have been to, Crystal and Twine.

Everything you would expect to find in a small town "padstal". Biltong, wors, home made pickles and preserves, tannie Marie's family favourite malva pudding, strawberry jam...you name it this place has a LARGE selection of padstal favourites. There is also a small book shop and gift wrapping area (ribbons, bags etc). My favourite area is always the fridge - local cheeses and home made pies.
