A 1/2 day drive through the small villages of Les Dentelles is a gratifying experience for the eyes. Countryside nearly mystic, wandering roads, tiny villages....all for the experiencing if you have a car. (You'll need Google maps too!) You will just appreciate being alive.

Took a 2.5 hour walk on a circular route out of Gigondas. A bit of a climb initially but the track is good for walking and the views when you reach higher up are superb. Went beneath the Dentelles and then past Les Florets back...More

The views of the Dentelles are phenomenal and I would recommend anyone visiting this area to definitely plan time to enjoy the wine route and the views - best through the area between Suzette and Beaumes-de-Venise.

difficult walk, not for beginners... but what a view on every part of the journey! Taking on the more difficult alternative next year!

Gives the region a more savage atmosphere. Especially interesting for people who like rock climbing.

Drove up to Suzette to show my girl the beautiful scenery. Spectacular! Small town, a few caves to taste the local wine offerings, a restaurant and bicyclists everywhere. Rustic scenery with vineyards and pencil pines with terracotta roof tiles giving a real Med atmosphere.

How those pesky cyclists do it, racing up and down vertiginous windy roads we have no idea, chattering away in their full monte Tour de France kit in French or Dutch. We less energetic guys just love to stroll before 10 of after 5 in...More

Incredible views from the top. Sunset visit is highly recommended!! Sign says 100m walk, but it is more like 300 meters (still not too far), and a fairly strenuous walk. Be dressed for the weather, as the wind can really whip through there in the...More

Beautiful rock formations. The trails take you in and among the rocks, with photogenic views. Hiking is moderately strenuous with some scrambling on rocks and well worth the effort. We were staying at the Hotel des Florets- located not too far from the start of...More

Whether you go up trails near Florets or out of Gigondas, the sights are super. Some trails easy and others demanding. The combination of the peaks and vineyards is striking.
