Simply stunning! And the surrounding Rhone winetasting is sublime. Gigondas, le Barroux, Beaumes, Segueret.........

Gives the region a more savage atmosphere. Especially interesting for people who like rock climbing.

Drove up to Suzette to show my girl the beautiful scenery. Spectacular! Small town, a few caves to taste the local wine offerings, a restaurant and bicyclists everywhere. Rustic scenery with vineyards and pencil pines with terracotta roof tiles giving a real Med atmosphere.

How those pesky cyclists do it, racing up and down vertiginous windy roads we have no idea, chattering away in their full monte Tour de France kit in French or Dutch. We less energetic guys just love to stroll before 10 of after 5 in...More

Incredible views from the top. Sunset visit is highly recommended!! Sign says 100m walk, but it is more like 300 meters (still not too far), and a fairly strenuous walk. Be dressed for the weather, as the wind can really whip through there in the...More

Beautiful rock formations. The trails take you in and among the rocks, with photogenic views. Hiking is moderately strenuous with some scrambling on rocks and well worth the effort. We were staying at the Hotel des Florets- located not too far from the start of...More

Whether you go up trails near Florets or out of Gigondas, the sights are super. Some trails easy and others demanding. The combination of the peaks and vineyards is striking.

Beautiful views as we drove through countryside from Suzette, the winding roads. There was a fun neighborhood wine tasting party in the village of Suzette so we did not take advantage of winetasting in Gigondas itself, but instead relaxed by the pool before dinner.

This is a great place for hikers, the mountains are not too huge but are spectacular vertical limestone strata that provide an enormous variety views and 'people friendly' hikes. The terrain is partly wooded, part vineyards and part Mediterranean/mountain scrub - very attractive - and...More

Nice selection of trails and options. Upper parking closed so 15 minute climb to trailheads. Good footwear choice a must.
