A couple of Euro bus ride from Puerto Pollensa where we were staying, brings you to Alcudia Old Town. The streets are largely pedestrianized, the buildings are delightful with the mottled tile roofs and green shutters. The town is a little hilly so wear good...More

A great tradional walled town with hidden restaurants and quiet streets. A market twice a week with local fruit, vegetables and great crusty Mallorcan breads.

Beautiful and historic, a real taste of traditional Mallorca. Family friendly even into the evening. You can take in scenery, eat, drink or just grab an ice cream!

This is a fascinating site architecturally and historically. Great shops and restaurants inside. Maybe avoid Tues market day as a bit too busy and streets become quite narrow. Good cafès too. Worth spending half a day there. You can walk along part of the walls.

Alcudia old town is compact and easy to navigate on foot. Follow the ancient walls which encircle it, then dawdle through the maze of narrow streets. You will find plenty of restaurants for a reasonably priced lunch and small shops in which to browse. I...More
