Good selection of police memorabilia. Nice seeing the gentleman walking about dress as a policeman from the 1860's. Staff made us welcome and are very knowledgeable

Well worth a visit for people of all ages. The artifacts are fabulous and the original fixtures and fittings are well preserved in many areas. very authentic and I would highly recommend a visit. As well as the Police cells and living quarters you can access the old court room and end the visit with a cuppa in the tea room.

Had a lovely hour or looking round the old nick with an escorted tour. The young chap was full of information which really brought the place to life.

Gainsborough is not a particularly large town, so an attraction of this size & quality came as something of a surprise. It's based in the old Gainsborough poilce station & magistrates court which closed in 1974 & is run entirely by volunteers. Loads of interesting stuff to see. Cells, equipment, all manner of poilce paraphernalia. Wander round yourself or take the guided tour. At three earth pounds it's a bargain. We really enjoyed our visit.
