We have now done this hike twice and loved it both times. We now believe the best way to do it is to park your car on the side of the road at the first safe spot below the village of Minerve. You then walk...More

Visit this site on the off chance it may be interesting but we were blown away. Strolling around the small village then walking down into the dry river bed was wonderful We explored the cave arches and saw hundreds of stone/pebble piles left by tourist...More

These natural tunnels are to be seen in order to realize just what water can do over a very long period of time. The devastation that it can create in a very short time during natural disasters or the bursting of a poorly built human...More

Looking across from a path leading into Minerve you see this amazing cliff face, reminiscent of the Yorkshire Dales. Above the cliffs we could see hikers walking the numerous scenic footpaths, and below a dried up river bed once sporting a corn mill. The whole...More

I really enjoyed this walk in Minèrve's cave. The river that passes through Minérve passes in this cave, but in November 2016 was completely dry. Comfortable shoes (sneakers) are required to do this activity. A lantern would help as well to cross the cave, but...More
