Lovely golf club and bar staff are always friendly. The chef may be grumpy but the food is superb - wonderful rare beef sandwiches today. Thoroughly recommended for golf, food and ambiance.

Ideal for a challenging but cost effective 18 holes. Not a simple but a well maintained course, friendly staff and good facilities.

Rooms clean, basic but offers car parking and shuttles to airport and return. Restaurant not open Sundays but found a wonderful pub 5 miles away, The Rising Sun at Blackwell.

Tees, fairways and greens were in excellent condition during my mid September visit and at £22 per round it was good value. However the 18 holes are a bit of mixture in quality with the best holes falling between the 9th and 14th, although the...More
