One of the three surviving churches of Reichenau monastic island. On the island survives only three churches but they are well preserved and inserted into a context of fields and old houses.

The main abbey has a rather austere grandeur; the church of St Georg is a medieval masterpiece; St Peter and Paul is a little baroque treasure. Fabulous painted ceiling and organ. Little museum right next to the church with more information.
