L’homme est aujourd’hui un prédateur de la biosphère.
Il épuise les ressources naturelles, transforme le climat et
conduit à une nouvelle extinction massive des espèces
vivantes. Il est confronté à des injonctions apparemment
contradictoires : préserver la nature dont il dépend et main-
tenir les bénéfices de ses techniques. Ces bénéfices ne sont
pas seulement d’ordre matériel, mais également culturel et
moral. La sculpture de Michel Leclercq, érigée en juin 2009,
évoque cette complexité
