What an interesting and fun experience! Africa truely is an amazing country and a must for anyone! Kids will love this too and very much cater for the whole family. Highly recommended!!

Excellent. I bought a combined visit to the cradle and the sterkfontein caves. Highly recommended. Historically interesting. Entertaining yet informative guides.

A very good anthropological museum display of hominoid fossil discovery in the valley. The pioneering anatomists and anthropologists are covered too. The latest discovery of the small Naledi Man (homo naledi) is one of the displays. Interactive displays keep children amused and happy.

I would agree with the earlier answer. Our visit to view the exhibition and the caves took between 3 and 4 hours.

If you are not adverse to driving, a rental car is the best option. It will be much cheaper than booking a tour for two and will allow you to visit other sites such as the nearby Sterkfontien Caves on your own schedule... More
