Visited on a sunny January day 2017. The castle is stunning and the moat was frozen. Beautifully set in a medieval town. The nearby Öhringen castle is grander with its park. An altogether, lovely historic experience

The view from the terrace is stunning. The tour guide was helpful and provided us with notes in English and did also add the odd interesting tidbit in English during the tour. The castle is fascinating and beautifully preserved. I particularly enjoyed the great Hall...More

Have been there a view times. If you are interested in history then this is the place to go. The knights become alive in the grant hall! Also nice location for classical concerts.
