Few visit this palace and so it was nice to get away from the crowds. Very nice and understated home with interesting furnishings. Nice walk among the gardens and fountains.

Unfortunately, there are several attractions in the Petergof that cause unnecessary fatigue - this is one of them.

The place had original paintings, floor and some furniture. It’s interesting but it costs more if you are forigner and the tours are onely ub Russian as wel as information next to the pictures.

We visitid Mon Plaisir when we visited the Peterhof gardens. It was a very big surprise. The setting, the palace itself surrounded by beautiful gardens with beautiful flowers and fountains. Nice were the very beautiful details which reminded me of Holland, the country Czaar Peter...More

One of the highlights of our day at Peterhof was Monplaisir Palace. It was Peter's favorite too. Much smaller and intimate, this was Peter came to get away from the Grand Palace.
