Not worth visiting. Unwelcome reception after driving on a very bad road. What a waste of time. Hosts are unfriendly. Dog present in restaurant where you have lunch

This was our first visit, by our daughter and son-in-law have been often. The place has a great vibe, and 6 of us had a super lunch. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the food is just great. We had a cheese sharing board and a charcuterie sharing board for starters. The cured meats are locally sourced. Tempura prawns and baked camembert were enjoyed as well as their own Rose wine. We will be back!

The ambience of the venue was only surpassed by the amazing food. Local products were superbly presented and the accompanying wines were outstanding. The staff and owners were very friendly and looked like they could have spent all day getting to know you, all the while turning out exceptional food.
The highlights (and it is hard to choose) were the most divine desserts so make sure you leave space for them!

Please make a reservation as they cater fresh food accordingly. We went without a reservation but the owners gladly accommodated us to enjoy a bottle of wine and order a snack (very tasty). Due to covid they no longer do the wine tasting. The wines were excellent. Visit this wine estate and support local.

Just brilliant. Always a treat to have the cheese board, tempura prawns or delicious oxtail. We frequent this wonderful establishment often and it just never lets us down.
Highly highly recommended.

Beautiful wine, food and scenery. The vegetarian platter can be arranged with a vegan cashew spread that will change your life.

My experience is per e-mail & internet - have not yet had the opportunity to visit but from the courteous responses & all I've read believe that Abingdon is unique in every way - personal, material & fyture opportunities for all to savour and enjoy
Their precious wines gtown amongst the most difficultconditions ate to becherished - poof of their value is that the 2018 Nebbiollo is copmpetely sold out - I have asked Jane to inform me when they have stock as I await the delivery of the Syrrah & Voigner as well as Suvugnon Blanc at Frogmore Cottage, Keurbooms River Road, Plettenberg Bay

Divine afternoon spent tasting wine and then having some lunch at the restaurant outside. This is a beautiful little family owned winery and a great addition to the midlands meander.
