Had a beautiful day with my husband and two kids. Loved visiting the little stalls, kids enjoyed the candle dipping, train ride, and zip lining. Had the best scones in my whole life at Piggly Wiggly restaurant. Pizza was delicious too, from a wood burning oven. The atmosphere and being out in the country...absolutely stunning!!

The Midlands Meander is simply amazing. So much to do. As for Piggly Wiggly, whoever came up with that amazing layout is simply brilliant.

A very cute collection of small arts and crafts business selling their wares to the travelling tourists and those lodging in the area. Childrens play area and the pizza restaurant smelt great!

I've stopped over for breakfast on more than one occasion, good food, good service, well priced and most importantly consistent - even on a weekend morning when the Pigglys can be Wiggling all over the place.

Lovely 3 Egg omelette with my favourite drink, iced chai! They don't have iced chai on their menu but were quite willing to make it especially for me. Love it when restaurants don't tell clients they don't have something on the menu but make the effort to comply with the client's request. Staff friendly & efficient.

Had a late afternoon lunch on their shaded terrace there when showing a friend around the meander and as always it was a delightful meal. We had the Ploughman's Platter and the Salmon Salad, both were really good. The Platter is an assortment of breads, cheeses, pickles and cold meats and is more than enough for 2 people or one... This is a wonderful place for a family outing. There are several interesting shops to visit and the restaurant is quite charming. There is a kiddies train ride which is very popular. Many people even bring their pets along which just adds to the family atmosphere.

Several free standing shops and restaurants conveniently situated together offering really good quality products - clothing, accessories, foodstuff especially hard to get goat dairy products, art works, cheeses, and lots more. Give your self time to meander through, no point in rushing.
