As we drove into Nottingham Road, making notes for shopping etc, we turned off the main road and found the Aladdin's de-light tucked away around the corner. Parking area a little rough and short walk to view several galleries, the Aladdin's being the main purpose for the visit. Very friendly welcome by the member of staff, lots of artwork, pottery on view, all created by local artists. Arts and crafts galore, interesting place.

Visited Aladdins on our 1st trip to Midlands, not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised to find this place, lots of books that are being sold in aid of the Feral Cat Project, some ceramic animals, that I purchased at ridiculously cheap prices that you can paint at home. Beautiful stained glass pieces are also for sale. The owners are so friendly and not in your face at all. There was a gentlemen that helped us, he was extremely friendly and helpful.

I had always wondered where Alladin's de-Light was situated as I had heard of it but never actually seen it. To my de-Light (sorry, I couldn't help it!), we found it just past the Spar in Nottingham Road, heading towards Fort Nottingham. The little shop is full of beautiful art and craft, and the owners work, quite literally, behind the scenes. We were made to feel welcome but weren't followed around as sometimes happens. What a super little shop - go and take a look for yourself!

I really enjoyed spending some time in here. There was a lot of different options and some that are unique and have not seen before. The prices are reasonable and the staff pack them to make sure they travel well.
