Visited Fiskars with our friends who had been there before. They recommended the place to us. Old industrial area now turned into art galleries, shops, restaurants, cafes etc. You soent easily here a day.

Fiskars in early June isn't quite ramped up for the summer so it was quiet, pleasant, and a nice walk, but not particularly compelling. It might get more interesting later. The Fiskars store is pretty good and the prices are comparable to what you'll find...More

The Village was beautiful, buildings too. I do like authentic atmosphere - this was not that. All (?) the buildings are in use as restaurants, shops etc. so you can't visit any of those in their original use.

Interesting former iron works village home of the original orange handled scissors! Good artisan shops and we had a great lunch too. Nice day trip from Helsinki.

Nice place for an afternoon stroll with many artisan shops and pretty cafes along the river. It is a bit expensive in some shops but others have beautiful unique items at reasonable prices such as Sassi jewellery.

This is a old charming ironworks mileau - nowadays well-functioning tourism destination to Finnish and foreign visitors. There are quite many cafes, restaurants and shops, museum, art exhibitions. Shops are introducing Finnish design and handicrafts from cloths and textiles, to jewelry and woodworks. Occasionally there...More
