We spent some time driving around the village. It is very quaint and charming. You can park in a central place and walk all around. The shops are very nice. There are a lot of local artisans. We liked the Fiskars shop really well.

The old village of Fiskars provides interesting sight to early days of industrial development. Village has long history of kraftmanship, blacksmiths and carpenters. Even today local kraftmen work and sell their products in local shops. Village has idyllic cafes and restaurants open through the whole...More

Visited Fiskars with our friends who had been there before. They recommended the place to us. Old industrial area now turned into art galleries, shops, restaurants, cafes etc. You soent easily here a day.

Fiskars in early June isn't quite ramped up for the summer so it was quiet, pleasant, and a nice walk, but not particularly compelling. It might get more interesting later. The Fiskars store is pretty good and the prices are comparable to what you'll find...More

The Village was beautiful, buildings too. I do like authentic atmosphere - this was not that. All (?) the buildings are in use as restaurants, shops etc. so you can't visit any of those in their original use.
