Totally worth the trip

We went there based on a recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed. The zoo feels more like a park where we walk and meet animals. Some of them will come out to greet you and I got a high five from a monkey! The park has been hit by a disastrous hurricane in october…

The place really is charming - it's on a nice forest close to town and it has some animal variety (tigers, araras, severall monkeys, lamas, ostriches, elks, etc.) - but it fell in a state of disrepair. The bathrooms are barely usable, completely dirty, and there is no place to…
