My wife was bugging me for a long time to come to this island because she visited the island when she was a teenager, I kept declining, until 7 years. My first reaction was, what a beautiful island. I am not talking about Skala Kalloni...More

We spent many happy hours at this beach (at the same time as the rather negative review from Milan funnily enough). We had a few days where the wind blew so the sea was slightly choppy causing the sea grass to be washed up. On...More

Unfortunately lots of seaweeds and very blurred water. A real pity because the bay is fascinating, free sunbeds offered by the Paradise bar if you buy something and very little people ( almost desert!) Not impressing for the sea, beach and landscape overall. There are...More

We visited the beach every day of our stay in Skala. If you go to the area behind the restaurants you can use the sun beds all day for the price of a drink . The sea is very clear and shallow ,there’s sea grass...More

Great spot to get some tanning, have a drink from the Caprice bar and lay on a sunbed. Water is also hotter here compared to the open sea, sometimes there's a lot of wind though.

Town center is basically beach side and great for dining and its night bar, weather is phenomenal, has its history too, as for beaching, ideal for tanning, water is nice if you dont mind the growing sea weed

This beach was very nice, sandy beach. It is quite big and there are plenty of sun beds for catching a few rays. Most hotels in the area provide sun beds at this beach to their clients. The beach is a few minutes walk from...More

Skala Kallonis Beach is a rather small beach, located in the bay of Kalloni. Sunbeds are free, but you are expected to (and would want to!, given the heat and general politeness) buy something from the cafe. They serve excellent ice-coffee and fresh orange juice,...More

We had heard the same things about the beach but found it to be quite clean. No cigarette butts or animal poo. That was October 2015. Lovely resort as long as you don't want anything more than quiet friendly and unspoilt... More

Dear Katja The beach is not really dirty, the sand is a greyish colour so not so attractive, but the water is really clear. The Hotel Malemi has an area on the beach at the end of the road from the hotel with sun beds... More
