It starts from Agios Ioannis village and goes all the way to Kakia Skala beach before Ferma;the impressive waterfall with water dropping from 40 meters charms even the most demanding visitor;the best time to visit is in spring or at the beginning of summer ;

We tried the "farmers Road " to the site. it was rough and poorly graded. Our disappointment came from the fact that there was no water at all. However as a tourist site the surrounding mts were a pleasing distraction.

Great little walk from the main road. The water only falls in rainy season so don’t be disappointed if you arrive and only find a little puddle, the experience is still worth it. Geocache spot if you’re that way inclined

Having visited ierapetra for many years , we had never the opportunity to walk to this respectful george which falls 40 meters. Yet it is unknown to most of the cretans. We walked for a few time between trees and bushes wearing only sea shoes,...More
