Chania has some really nice beaches and Falassarna is one of them! There is plenty of space to stretch out on your own little spot along the coast there. The drive to Falassarna is also very beautiful. Pick the right time of year and you...More

What more needs to be said. Beautiful colours beautiful beach a magical place. Parking at the restaurant on the right as you look out to sea gives good access to the best part of the beach.

Absolutely beautiful beach, without the crowds of the other popular beaches of the West. We paid €8 for two beds and an umbrella for the whole day. There are a few bars close by which offer service to the beach and are reasonably priced. It...More

This beach was very close to our house. I enjoyed Elafonissi for all the walking paths. But this beach was equally good - it actually had more pink sand than Elafonissi - at least in our opinion. Was also less crowded since it is so...More

There is a natural sea pool that is great for small children and nearby places to get cool drinks and ices.

We spent four continuous days at Falasarna Big beach; there is good sand, big waves, and good swimming, though not for beginners. There are rocks every so often though if you're snorkelling wear rubber shoes, for the churning water might push you against one of...More

We loved this beach. €10 for 2 sun loungers and parasol all day. Amazing clear sea and sandy beach. Good for kids. We preferred here to Elofonisi beach as not as crowded.

Lovely beach, water quite shallow. Clean water and sand. Very organised with all necessary facilities. Parking nearby. Taverna on site. As beautiful as it is we didn’t like being there because its patrons are so excessively noisy and it spoiled the tranquil experience.

We caught the bus / coach at about 10:50am from Rapaniana, the bus leaving Chania at 10:00am. €22:00 for 2 people return. Got into Falassarna at around 12:00pm. Stops right at the beach. Last bus from the beach is 5:20pm.

Hi, there are places to buy snacks and drinks at Falassarna and very nice and inexpensive taverna To Kuoma at the central part of the beach. At Efalonissi I would advice to take smth with you to the beach.
