The library is one of the most striking examples of the heydays of Milies and of Pilion. Even with the limited collection of the original library (lost in WW2) it proves that science and culture were an integral part of the Pilion community. A must...More

Many thanks to Dimitrios for a wonderful English tour. The original books in the collection are amazing and the history of the library is very interesting. Not to be missed if in Milies.

An unassuming historical gem in a beautiful mountain village. Over 3000 books rescued from the local school during the Second World War, and a very friendly attendant talked us through the significance of the various objects on display. A short visit, but interesting.
