DONT DO IT!!!!! No you have to go and step out over the cliff edge at Cabo Girao, even if it makes your insides and your outsides want to crawl even further inside. Absolutely fantastic views on a clear day and to be able to...More

The views from up there are stunning especially if visited on a clear sunny day. The best point is clearly from the glass floor area (both down and out) but if walking in a glass platform is not for you there are still other points...More

Excellent!! Not for the faint hearted if you want to walk on the glass! Superb views though. Yellow bus to Camara do Lobos then, at same stop, change to Yellow bus single decker to Cabo (8€ for the last hairy bit). Or take the road...More

This is an amazing site to visit. Takes a bit of motivation to walk on a glass bridge, the brain is very powerful. Great sea view. Excellent shping at the gift shop too. This is a MUST visit when in Madeira.

the view from the top is stunning, indeed, but the location, being close to Funchal is a little too easily accessible and therefore - flooded with tourists

Bit of a journey to get there - small winding roads - little scary ! But totally worth it - 550 meters above sea level - amazing views

This was my third visit to Cabo Girao and I just love it. What an amazing view from the platform especially eastwards and looking over the rail straight down is absolutely breath taking. Definitely not for anyone who suffers from vertigo! I saw a few...More

Good view, many photos are taken ,arrived by the yellow bus, shame the cafe had a smell of weed in the food. Specially my dish was the carbonara.

Many of the roads in and around the area are very narrow, just barely allowing two way traffic. That being said, that is true of nearly all the roads in Madeira outside of the main VR routes. I wouldn't say they are... More
