If you leave Santorini and haven't had lunch here you really missed out on probably the best greek traditional kitchen. There are only a few courses on the menu which is usually a sign of the quality offered and Faros Market fits this stereotype perfectly. You can feel a connection to what you eat since everything they offer comes from their own garden like tomatoes, capers, olives and the goat cheese as they wander around in viewing distance from the terrasse with a beautiful oceanview.
It is close to the lighthouse so if you plan on watching the sunset from there stop by and have a try of their local vine and food - you will not be dissapointed🤤

We were staying around a 10 min walk from here so after watching the sunset at the nearby lighthouse we walked here for a late dinner. It was getting late so we were the only ones eating but the owner was so accommodating and friendly, she took us through the full menu and recommended wine. We had the tomato fritters, fava and Greek salad and it was all delicious. Everything was homemade including the wine which was amazing! A great little restaurant to stop at, highly recommend!

If you like amazing, fresh, local cuisine paired with great wine, you should make this one of your stops. It is on the way to the lighthouse. I drove passed thinking I should stop but was past it by the the I made the decision, so I stopped on my way back. They told me how everything is organic and local. They either grow it themselves or buy from thier neighbors. They make their own goat cheese from thier own goats on site. You can get a picture with the donkey, or goats, see the grapes drying for making wine and if you are very lucky you might be there when they press the grapes! I loved it so much that I came back that night for a sunset dinner. They owner made me a special plate since I was alone and I got the opportunity to taste a lot of her dishes! I even liked the eggplant and I don't normally like eggplant. I ate it all up! Thank you for a lovely dinner. Look forward to coming back!

My sisters and I had the most amazing time with Maria. We were introduced to her as part of a cooking and wine tour from Airbnb experiences. Maria is so passionate about Greek culture, her family and food. She provided a connection to Greek culture that was sorely missing and we will be forever grateful. We made Santorini salad, dolmas and tomatoes fritters. Absolutely delicious. No trip to Santorini would be complete unless you spend time with Maria, eat her delicious food and learn about Greek culture.

The owner Maria & her family oversee this beautiful estate, bistro, market & the real prize is the "cooking class" after you enjoy the private tour & history of their heritage which dates back for many generations, their wine they produce there on site as well as all their produce, I loved the "watermelon marries the pumpkin" story ! We had such a wonderful relaxing time in her home on the sunporch making Tzatziki, sweet tomato & onion fritters, dolmades & of course a Greek salad... we had so much fun hearing about her rich culture & imparting her helpful nuances in prepping the dishes we were cooking. we then enjoyed our lovely dinner watching the sun set over the Aegean sea... it was surreal, one of the best experiences ever !! We can not wait to go back & bring our friends, S' Agapo Maria ...xo Efcharisto

Faros Products is a small market, and they hold authentic Greek cooking classes. If you reach out to them, they are more than happy to organize a completely vegan class. My wife and I went during our honeymoon for a class for two and had a wonderful time making dishes such as tzatziki, dolma, and tomato fritters, all of which were delicious. The host was also extremely helpful because we took a car to the market and did not have a ride back, and she helped us call a company to get home!!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun experience in Santorini.

I discovered this charming and authentic restaurant/market while walking from my hotel to the lighthouse! Marina is the owner and Maria works with her. Both of these women are wonderful and welcoming. The food is delicious and it's amazing what comes out of such a small kitchen. Marina loves to cook and it really shows. Plus they make their own wine on the premises! It really is a must for anyone who loves food and wants to experience traditional Greek food. Also, you watch the sunset from the back patio!

Just a cute little roadside Cafe with drinks, limited menu and a small store with knick nacks and ice cream. The highlight was the cute little family that owns the market and of course the donkey Marco. My son still mentions Marco every now and then :) if you want an authentic experience in a family owned market, please stop. Make the effort to talk to Maria the owner. She is lovely.

Wonderful, freshly prepared food made by the owner Maria and her family. We stopped here for lunch which was delicious. There is also a small shop which sells local produce which we couldn’t resist. It would be easy to drive by and miss this place by I high,y recommend you stop by even if only to say hi to Marcos the family donkey!

We were lucky enough to have been taken to the Faros Market on a tour of the island, and we could not have been happier to have done so!

Set in a beautiful, rustique area of the island, it is an absolute gem, with incredible food and produce all made there.
We were treated to a wonderful selection of Maria's incredible cooking, at a spectacularly set dining area) which even with some food issues as a group (coealiacs) she was able to create even more food to cater. We were then given a showing of the cellars, before sadly it was time to depart.

A huge thank you to Maria, and could not recommend a visit enough in your time in Santorini
