The cove right next to the Red beach, on the southern side of Santorini, is known as the White beach. It is very similar to the Red beach, with black pebbles on the shore, only that the surrounding cliffs are white. This beach is accessible only by boat or on foot from the Red beach.

Beautiful white beach. Few people in May but the water is fresh. The water has a deep blue. Very quiet and relax.

Again another disappointment, this beach is not white sand, it is only the cliffs that is white, so should not be called The White Beach. Not worth the walk to get to it.

Unlike it’s written a lot here, it IS possible to get there by car, though the road is far from perfect. All the others reviews pretty much describe it, so it’s up to you whether it worth it, I enjoyed it :)

First and foremost, this beacj is not part of the organized beaches in Santorini. To find it is kinda of a challenge. We went thru rock hills, luckily we were on the ATV. when we reached, we didnt even stayed more than 15mins as there...More

We went to the white beach on the water taxi from the red beach and it is well worth the journey, just be aware that you will get wet getting off the boat and getting back in. the only way to go is by boat.

To visit that beach you have to take a boat ride, there is no other way to approach to it.. it is very very small beach, it has white rocks...the bad side is that it has lot of alges on it..

Like most of the other beaches on Santorini, the White Beach is not very comfortable as far as walking barefoot, laying on the ground, etc. The rock formations, however, are gorgeous and the white against the blue sea is stunning.

We got water taxi from the red beach. Only after sailing, the driver said it is forbidden to stop there, and it is only allowed to swim in the black beach. Some people were very disappointed. I don't know if I would have wanted to...More

Whether there will be boats in October from Akrotiri to the three beaches, the Red one, the White one, and the Black one, is problematic. But the middle of October is still not entirely outside the season, so there must be... More
