This fairly new national park - our cottage was only built in 2014 - is the ideal getaway for people who want to get away from all and sit and stare at the sea from a shady porch. The cottages are well-equipped and pleasantly furnished (the bed is a huge King Size) and are serviced daily - which includes cleaning... More

This was our second visit. During the December holidays, the coastal areas are extremely busy, but the chalets within the park were pure bliss. We had total privacy, beautiful views of the ocean and the accommodation was superb. The wooden raised chalets among fynbos are well furnished , spacious and all have great veranda's. We took long strolls along the... More

If you want to get away from it all and have a perfect view of the sun setting over the silver sea, give Cape Agulhas National Park a try. SANParks has chalets that sleep two or four, all with ocean views and completely outfitted with grills, glassware, flatware, plates, even a microwave and fridge with freezer. The charming thatched-roofed cabins... More

Great to be in such a fantastic place. The seas were enormous, dramatic and mesmerising to watch. It was a beautiful clear day and such a moving place to be. Get the photo, you will remember it forever.

Want a bit of peace, quite and time out? Agulhas National Park has it all. 15 new luxury cabins, fully equipped, situated among the Fynbos dunes will get you going back repeatedly. Every cabin has sea view overlooking the typical vegetation to be found along the southern point of Africa. Expect to be visited by the Cape Spurfowl, Mongoose and... More

What a glorious place to spend a few tranquil days & nights. The National Park Family Chalet was just so comfortable, spacious & well equipped (except bring a coffee pot!). A fire place inside for cool evenings (and a bedroom heater if needed - which we didn't) and an outside braai make for such atmospheric evenings. Lulled to sleep by... More

Many people say there is nothing here except a place where you can take a picture that you were in the most Southern place of Africa. If you go to take this picture only then you will be dissapointed. But if you spend here 1-3 days and will walk along the empty clean coastline for 2-3 hours then you will... More

Very neat, well run and inexpensive accommodation. In a magnificent setting overlooking the sea, fynbos and coastal rocks, with many easy walks and a lot to see in the surrounding towns and countryside. Like the southernmost point of Africa, shipwrecks etc.

We had the most beautiful and comfortable chalet. The view was beautiful. Everything we needed and more. Well equipt. Plus a huge "rain" spider as a bonus in the shower! Loved the wooden deck. The staff at the gate was very friendly and helpful. So was the lady at the office when we arrived. One day at this beautiful place... More

Essential a biome park with small mammals and birds... not a 'game reserve'... with walks/cycling along paths and the beach ... a place to really unwind
