Really nice drive with the motorbike, not too easy to find. Park your motorbike 300m before the Overlap Stone as it gets quite steep after that. Parking is 20 THB as you park on private grounds. The owner of the parking space and house guides you the way to Overlap Stone and another great viewpoint. Entrance fee is another 50 THB. We were lucky enough to be the only visitors and really enjoyed the view and the short hike. When you are close by its worth a visit!

So glad we went! A bit hard to find. Thank you to the other Trip Advisor reviews we knew what to expect. Can ride your scooter up the massive hill, and give the man THB 20 for parking. Walk up 300m (quite a steep hill) and you’ll see another carpark for cars then head down to the area next to the carpark and look for the “Do Not Enter / Private” sign with barbed wire fence. That’s the entrance! There’s a tiny path to the left of the fence that you can walk to get to the other side of the fence. Follow the dirt path up a little more to another “Closed” sign and pay the lady THB 50 per person entrance fee.

We went at 11 am so it wasn’t too crowded. Everyone gave each other alone time on the bridge and for pictures. Stunning view and al glad we found it. My husband who’s uncomfortable with heights did not like walking on the bridge and standing on the rock’s edge. It is a little scary as there’s no railing once you get out to the rock.

View is worth it though!

Wear comfortable walking shoes.

If you come here by a car, there'll be a parking fee💸, then you'll have to walk along the path, not too long to arrive there... just walk carefully!!

When you reach here, you'll have to pay "50 baht" for an entry fee. And an old lady who lives there will be the one who receive your money~

** I think 50 baht is too much, last year was only 20 baht. What if years later it became 100 baht each!? 👀👀👀

** THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANY FEES. GET YOUR OWN MONEY!!!!!

For one of the best advantage view points in Koh Samui you have to check out the OverLap stone. Amazing rock feature with views over the island and ocean. Small entrance fee to get in and be prepared for a step incline when walking/driving to the location

My wife discovered this hidden gem on Instagram so we hired a driver and made our way to the mountain behind Lamai Beach drove up the mountain until our van could not go any farther then hiked the last 300 meters to the local Thai home where this hidden stone is located paid 100 Thai baht and made our way across the bridge for our amazing Instagram photos, if you are in Koh Samui you must go here to this amazing natural occurrence.

The overlap stone is great for you to take 5-minute photos there but the way up here is very dangerous though. We manage to drive here and found that the hills here are steep hills both ascending and descending and if you're not familiar with these kind of routes, there might be an accident.

Quite fun finding my way up, only for our car to be stopped half way on a steep hill because it could not go further... So, we had to detour and find a spot to park down the hill then make our way up by walking. Fortunate, myself and companion had runners brought anyway for such scenario, so walking up to the viewpoint was no difficulty- in fact, an exercise that we needed.. Arrived up there with small thb20 entrance fee, and the view was all worth it, especially the fact that we were the only group up there early in the morning. Would've been a spectacular sight to catch the sunrise if we made it earlier.. Still, the weather was great and the view was spectacular. We could see the red clay temple below and mainland visibly from up there. Very photogenic spot and viewpoint.
