A great little shop with some lovely pottery, and other bits and pieces, very tasteful and contemporary. The owner was very friendly and helpful

There was initially little in the way of high end quality art of any sort in MacGregor surprisingly for a quirky weekend local tourist attraction.
However we noticed a not so obvious sign at entry to a side street off the main Voortrekker Road and hesitantly embarked down this dusty dirt road with no expectation.
Suddenly The Potter's House Pottery is upon us and you enter this modern cavernous space with the most beautiful pieces of pottery and other artefacts. She also displays the most exquisite jewellery by Rachel Beaton.
Sonja and Johnny were such an interesting couple to meet creative artistic having arrived in Macgregor from just outside Noordoek for a new adventure.Adjoining their shop must be on.of the most beautiful manor houses in the town - it beholden the eye
We both wish them well in their new venture as they deserve success

Not many shops worth visiting while in McGregor ,but this one is a must.On a side road from the Main Street , past the photographer's gallery, you'll find this bright boutique and workshop where Sonja does the pottery and Johnny the soaps.Plus they showcase the jewellery of Rachel Beaton, and my husband bought me a gorgeous necklace with matching earrings in lava which I love.
A very friendly couple welcomes you and they also have a superb cottage Provençal style , with swimming pool ,where you can stay.
Thank you very much and warmest wishes for lots of happy customers like us.
