We were headed back to Cape Town after a day of diving with the sharks and we asked our driver if he knew of a vineyard we could visit. He had not been to this Estate before, but we were ALL wonderfully surprised. The gardens are beautiful and the wine tasting is excellent. The 2010 Shiraz was my favorite. We even tried to have a case or two sent home (Florida), but the vineyard is very small. We instead purchased several bottles and celebrated with them the next nights. It is a beautiful place with a small restaurant and gift shop. Don't miss this stop, you'll have great memories to take home.

On this trip we planned this excursion. Nice for us, Stef had us tasting and rating wines. In addition, the two of us were treated to a terrific champagne rating contest. It was such fun and Stef was so interesting and informative. The vineyards are beautiful and we walked around and enjoyed the property. We had made reservations at The Royal Oke Restaurant for lunch. This is definitely one of the nicest vineyards. (The tastings are free.)

This is our third visit here and we like it as much as the first time in 2014. This year we met Jan - who owns the place! Great conversation about Africa and the future! We toured the grounds and so enjoyed the wine tasting. The heavy red is super! We had lunch at the Tasty Lemon - a new and very nice restaurant!!!!!
Get out in the country and enjoy this winery!

Tickets at R80.00 per person and you're expected to sit on terrible benches in the blistering sun, absolutely no shade offered whatsoever and very limited food options AND the blond and wit beers runs out by 13:30??....
With so many markets and family days in the area, one would expect this farm to have its ducks in a row.
Certainly not impressed!

Absolutely lovely winery. We sampled five wines two whites, one rose, and two reds. All had lovely floral hints with loads of flavor. Catherine helped us through our entire experience and was beyond brilliant. She was very attentive and explained all the wines perfectly. Would definitely recommend and return!

We went there at the end of a day when we visited quite a few of the wineries in the area. This is certainly a bit different. The views are great, the tasting room ok, the wines not great- at least not compared to others, some of which were amazing, in particular as they were only fairly new.

We visited this small winery as part of a small tour group. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The lunch was really excellent as was the service. The wine was ok even to my untrained palate. But who cares. Life is about having fun and this was an enjoyable afternoon. I prefer fun to a wasted afternoon with excellent wine surrounded by pretentious connoisseurs. I would go back again

Located on the road between Hermanus and Stanford, more to the Stanford side, this inviting little gem is waiting to let you taste their fabulous wines and eat in their homely restaurant. The Chenin and Shirazes are recommended. The lady who served us was bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back. Did I mention the wine tasting was free?

I wanted to do the wine tasting and the grappa, but they are in 2 different venues, so I chose the grappa, which I had not experienced before. The grappa was interesting to try all the different flavours, but I would have liked a more detailed description, and some notes perhaps.

Our wine tasting was done with Steph, (she is bubbly, knowledgeable and accommodating), we book a wine tasting with a tram ride. Definitely try their Cutters Cover Pinot Noir. We also had a grappa tasting - try (the creamy, chili, chocolate)
Their restaurant was closed for their annual break
