Firstly the staff looks like they don't want to be there. Especially the girl in the shop. The restaurant food was fine but that's it. The so-called cheese tour was waiting 10 minutes to milk a goat, thereafter the "tour guide", shows you a couple of photos of the process and then you're rewarded by slicing yourself as small piece of cheese. All of that takes 20 minutes and cost R60 for adults. Really was ashamed on your behalf.

Upon entry to this establishment we paid R360 to do a very mediocre tour which wasn’t very informative, there was no physical process of the cheese making but was shown diagrams of how the cheese was made which wasn’t worth a cent plus there was no form of social distancing and the group was clustered. My friend ended up walking out with his toddler due to the smell of the environment and the group that was in their cheese making kitchen. He ended up waiting at our table where we decided to have lunch there was only 2 tables occupied in the dining area. The show ended quickly and briefly,so we sat at our table waiting for service ,we were a family of 5 adults and 2 kids so it was impossible to go unnoticed. We literally had to wave and shout for a waitress attention. When she got to us she was confused, dazed and unapologetic she decided to call another waiter to help us when she left the table my wife noticed her unkept nails with black dirt in it and decide that was it ,we not gonna eat here. When exciting ,we explained our dissatisfaction to the young lady she began to give us attitude and called her mom which was the owner and spoke in Afrikaans to her saying ‘that she can’t handle these ppl’ & that’s when we got really upset ,luckily my wife understands the language and told them that she also understands and speaks Afrikaans. The owner didn’t even have any sort of empathy towards our compliant ,she actually chased us out of her premises and told her I will definitely be reviewing this place on TripAdvisor and she replied that I must do that. The reason why she spoke to us ppl of color in that manner because she was the owner and she can do or say what ever she pleased.I would never ever recommend the cheese tour which was waste of money and the restaurant for their deep lack of service etiquette and customer service. You would expect these owners to treat their customers with thee utmost care and attention because of what the lockdown has done to their business but clearly it wasn’t the case in this horrid place. They should be grateful that ppl are coming out during this pandemic to support their business!

Lovely meal with a pretty view. Kiddies loved the farm animals and play area. I'd definitely recommend stopping there on the way to St Lucia or visiting there if you don't feel like a beach day. Will be back.
