Monforte d"alba is a lovely Langhe hill town and a great place to base yourself for your time in the region. Lots of great restaurants, fantastic views, easy parking and access to walking trails. Monday is market day.

A small village sitting up on a hill, with a small plaza to have a drink, and watch the people. Head up hill to visit the nice church and get a great view of the surrounding area. Some nice restaurants in this village.

This was a great place to spend a couple days in the Piedmont wine region. Scenic, picturesque, great lodging and dining, easy to get to other places - Serralunga, Barolo, LaMorrra and beyond. No shopping and the weekly market is in Alba. Public swimming pool....More

In the middle o beautiful surroundings Monforte is a small town worth visiting when in the neighboorhood. It doesn't have many attractions but some interesting restaurants. On Sundays mornings the centre square is lively and a fun place to have a coffee.

It is very small, you can find very good vine and If you want to have a romantic dinner in the middle of tons of vineyards, this is "the place"
