Thanks the least interesting of the three Nether Largie Cairns, but being in the middle it's 'unmissible' if you are seeing the others, and I'd recommend you do.

Walk along a well marked route to access this cairn, one of several in the Kilmartin glen. It is full of atmosphere and a board gives you some basic information about it if you don't want to visit the museum

Don't know if it's this Cairn, but one of the 3 you can go inside and see more information. Really eerie but brilliant and so quiet and peaceful.

Easily accessible as this is the most northerly of the linear cemetery tombs and is reached via the well maintained pathway from the museum. You can enter the tomb and see the cists therein. If the weather breaks you are a short sprint from shelter...More
