Thanks the least interesting of the three Nether Largie Cairns, but being in the middle it's 'unmissible' if you are seeing the others, and I'd recommend you do.

This is one of our favourite cairns, and you can go down into the chamber. However, take great care as the trapdoor is very heavy. Also it slides not lifts and you can jog it off its runners if you try to lift it. Going in though is fabulously atmospheric and worth some effort! From here you can see up the valley towards the village, and all the other cairns are in easy distance as are standing stones and Temple Wood site.. You have to climb a stile to get into the site, but the steps are shallow and there is a pole. …

Walk along a well marked route to access this cairn, one of several in the Kilmartin glen. It is full of atmosphere and a board gives you some basic information about it if you don't want to visit the museum
