This is a must go to in GOZO! The route to get there is an offroad (no tarmac, very dusty). You either need to have a 4x4 or quad or bike or a car you don't mind getting dusty. To get there you have to...More

I was here a few days ago. I was very disappointed to discover that people had left their empty plastic bottles, beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere. Why cannot people respect nature!!!. I didn't go into the water as it looked dirty! The place could...More

Place is beautiful and relaxing. The water is very clear but you have to go through some rocks at the beginning. Need to go down some steps to reach the bay, take care if you suffer from hearth health problems to go back up the...More

We hired quad bikes and headed up to Wield il-Ghasri and it was one of the highlights of our week in Malta/Gozo. You have to take the trip - we can't stress enough! It is beautiful, relaxing, and so exciting to swim in!

It's a bit rough getting there (no bus going anywhere nearby) but it's worth every drop of sweat. The beach is beautiful and we didn't see a single jellyfish. However, I would recommend some boots because it's a bit rocky at first and with strong...More

We took a taxi to the salt pans and then walked the rest of the way to this spot. We were a little concerned about finding it since there were no signs, and there wasn't much out there period. But we had an adventurous attitude...More

This natural beauty is another hidden gem in Wied il-Ghasri, Gozo. A small crystal clear beach between the valley (Wied in Maltese) worth visiting especially in the early morning for a refreshing quiet swim. A bit tricky to get to it since there is no...More

Albeit becoming popular it`s still somehow off-the-beaten-track place. The really narrow canyon/gorge offers great place to swim and chill out especially if you walk around salt pans before. I have no problem with the rocks or stones as some other reviews are mentioning.

This is a 20 min walk from Qbajjar along the salt pans and beautiful rock formations. The gorge itself is simply stunning and, when we went, it was very quiet. After a quick swim and snorkel we walked around the corner to another swimming place...More

Although mentioned in our guidebook, it is a little off the beaten track and not easy to find, there were no signposts as we approached from the salt pans near Marsalforn and only guessed we were nearby when we saw a few cars parked up....More

It is awkward to get to, bicycles you can hire, quad bike hire, or even a return journey taxi, none are expensive. But make sure you go !
