Great Park. Season ticket offers exceptional value.
Aug 2019 • Family
August tends to be very busy so best avoided if possible. Late evening quieter as crowds clear. We always find something wonderful at Planete Sauvage especially when there are young animals recently born. A great family day out.

Nice safari
Jul 2019 • Family
We visited this safari park back in the beginning of August 2019. We had an amazing day out.
The drive through safari is the joint star of the show. You get up close and personal with some amazing animals. My favourite were the bears and there little cubs.
The walk around bit isn't very exciting however But the dolphin display was amazing. Yes it's all in French but that doesn't spoil the fun. I do question the need to keep dolphins however as there water area is fairly small (compared to an ocean) I'm hoping it's not just to attract visitors and its something to do with conservation.
We ate on the park which was tasty but was the typical zoo prices.
Nice family day out

Fantastic piste safari
Oct 2019 • Family
Fantastic experience with 4 lion Cubs playing just metres from our car, other animals all v good. Walking bits also good, especially the monkeys, but beware as they are not all enclosed and some get closer than you may want.
Take a picnic as food there is poor quality and v expensive. There is a break at 5k on the safari, which is a good stop for lunch. Would recommend it.

A good day out
Aug 2019
We had some time to kill before our accomodation was available so thought we would spend the day in Planet Sauvage. It was a good decision.

With nearly 10km of tracks to drive through you get to see a large number of animals up close and apart from the tiger, we saw all of the animals we wanted to see. There is also a toilet/cafe stop at mile 5 that you can get out at and have a break.

We went in August so the park is busy but apart one or two spots where the traffic was heavy, we made most of the trip at our own pace. There are also areas to overtake if you want but why zoom through?

After the drive we parked up and walked in to the "village" area where you can follow some trails on foot.

We chose not to go to the dolphin show, as training animals for entertainment is now being questioned on ethical grounds.

The only thing that could be improved was the quality of catering which was a bit down market and the usual selection of poor quality sandwiches and unhealthy options.

Fantastic Family Day Out
Jul 2019
It was worth the 1 hour drive from Talmont Saint Hilaire to Planete Sauvage. We heard about it from another family that visited, otherwise it did not come onto our radar previously. It is a wonderful and different experience for all the family to see lots of various animals safely from your car. There is also lots of fun feeding popcorn to the birds/animals (see those permitted). There are rangers at various stages of your drive. Half way around there is a picinic area to relax and refresh for the latter part of the experience. We really enjoyed the Dolphin Show, even if we did get wet! It is very well laid out and animals look very well cared for. In 2020, visitors can actually sleep in the wild with the animals! It was a really enjoyable family day out.

A fantastic day out with our teenage sons. This is well worth a visit and value for money. So many animals to see which are clearly cared for and have so much room to roam around. Fantastic!

So much fun. Can get quite hot!
Jul 2018 • Family
This was a lot of fun, the animals coming up to your car was brilliant. You can buy popcorn for €2.70 for a bag and the animals eat it. Be sure to use the whole bag on the drive around as you cannot fees it to any animals when you are walking around. I would definetly go back here again, we got some great videos of the kids!

£100 well spent. Great day out
Aug 2018
2 adults, 2 kids, £100. Great value. Arrived at 10am (opens at 0945). Pre-booked tickets and got into a priority queue. Great start! Bought 2 bags of popcorn for £5 from the entry booth staff (yes, I didn’t know that wild animals eat popcorn either!) and got ourselves into the short queue of cars for the gentle meander around the park. Haven’t been to a safari park in a long time, but this was a really nice surprise. A slow drive around the park gets you really close to the animals. Feel free to overtake cars in front if they are going too slowly. A really good selection of animals kept us well entertained. From goats to giraffes, kangaroos to big cats, there is something for everyone. Our favorites were the large antelopes who stick their heads into the car to get at the popcorn. Not easy with massive horns! The leopard enclosure got us really close (windows firmly closed) to these amazing animals. Seeing them playing and fighting was a sight to behold. Half way around is a car park, with a small refreshment shack (chips are about £3.50) so take a packed lunch with you. Toilets are here too, but get very busy. After a short stop, we completed the second half of the drive. The online ticket also gives you access to a dolphin show on site (about 4 shows per day) which was a real bonus. The show is not exactly Florida quality, but nevertheless it was a great free end to the day. The park also has a jungle walkway where you can watch monkeys, wild foxes and other animals. The whole park was great.

In summary, plenty to do and great value for money.
