Well worth the visit when having a walk about the minster. Set amongst small gardens with period plants, which many were labelled. It just adds to the interest of a visit.

Hugely atmospheric in early spring, ruins very well preserved and the main hall is stunning. Worth a detour from the Minster, and the cafe is an added welcome!

If you visit the minster then make sure you don't miss the palace. Great architecture with a very interesting history, and sort of completes the visit.

We visited the Palace in the grounds of the Minster, afer exploring Southwell Minster itself, which was fascinating. The history of the building was very interesting, with all the medieval intriegue

Definitely to be seen if you visit the Minster, beautiful and well preserved buildings. Do make time for the gardens around this and the Minster
